This deadline for building also clearly helps the people of California and the nation- we need this scale now. not when it becomes convenient. I’m glad the stimulus will be spent soon. Only then will we be able to analyze if it worked at all.

This would be a great project for hawaii, specially since it is very remote and needs to be able to generate it’s own power. They should be setting up the infrastructure to do it in a sustainable way.

I love innovation like this. Solar powered EV charging stations – if they can be made to deliver enough power to sustain a practical user base of vehicles – would alleviate the issue of moving fossil fuel consumption from the vehicle to coal powered plants which could be the case if traditional grid supply was used for EV charging stations.

Cheers! This is the positive sign to use solar-power instead of using fossil fuels. If we keep seeing all kinds of solar breaktrhoughs, and solar-power is used worldwide, the global warming issues will be diminished.
